Born in Brooklyn New York to an Irish Mother and an Italian father, Raymond was raised on Long Island with his four siblings in a town called East Moriches.

Raymond is married with three children and now makes his home on the coastal shores of North Carolina where he works and plays along the intracoastal.

As an author, Raymond specializes in Science Fiction and Fantasy genres. He has honed his craft around his novel "Pilgrimage of Angels," and is currently working on developing a sequel.

Before the dawn of man, God's first creations, the Titans, in a jealous rage waged an unending war against their creator and the heaven. With the birth of man fast approaching, God creates a new spiritual race to join the Olympians, children of the Titans, in the defense of the heavenly realms. The newborn angels must now make sense of a heaven in turmoil, traveling through hostile territory facing the horrible servants of the Titans, in order to be reunited with their creator and discover their true purpose for existence.

Pilgrimage of Angels afforded a new twist on Greek mythology that I wasn't expecting. Sardella and Rice use a combination of mythological creatures and current religious parallels that I couldn't miss and really enjoyed.
